In 1992, EKOM manufactured its first compressor. Today, production reaches almost 15,000 compressors per year, of which approximately 300,000 units are already in operation around the world. Today, a team of 230 employees is involved in development and production. Ekom has thus become an important employer in the region.

EKOM compressors are unique due to their oil-free design. Thanks to the appropriate combination of materials, they operate without lubrication, and therefore the air coming out of them is clean, free of oil vapor and odors.
